Buenos Aires: Welcome to Buenos Aires
International flight arrival at Buenos Aires airport. After clearing customs and claiming your luggage, you will be greeted by your hotel and transferred to your hotel in Recoleta.
Head out on your first sightseeing tour of the city and explore the aristocratic neighborhood of Recoleta home to the opulent Recoleta Cemetery, Plaza Francia and the Fine Arts Museum, all walking distance from your hotel. You will also have the opportunity to visit nearby galleries and shops which are sprinkled through the neighborhood. Recommended dinner at Fervor - an elegant restaurant in the Recoleta neighborhood that serves delicious charcoal-grilled meat and fish specialties.
Buenos Aires: Exploring the Paris of South America
Explore the bohemian-chic neighborhood of Palermo spotted with stylish shops, parks and restaurants. Stop by the MALBA for an introduction to Latin American contemporary art. The Museum of Latin American Art (MALBA) boasts a collection of more than 200 works by contemporary and modern Latin American artists, from the beginning of the 20th century to the present.
End your tour at Casa Cavia for a lovely recommended lunch. Named for the chic Buenos Aires street on which it’s located, Casa Cavia is a new concept boutique restaurant that brings together a somewhat unexpected combination of local tastemakers—a florist, a chef, a perfumer, and a bookseller—under one historic roof.

Buenos Aires: Historical Highlights of Buenos Aires
Villa La Angostura: Lake Nahuel Huapi
Greeting by your host and private transfer to the domestic airport for your flight to Bariloche. Flight arrival at Bariloche. You will be greeted by your local guide and transferred to Villa La Angostura. On this exquisite drive, take in the incredible natural beauty of the Lake District.
Nahuel Huapi National Park is the oldest national park in Argentina and it surrounds Nahuel Huapi Lake in the foothills of the Patagonian Andes. Its landscapes represent the north Patagonian Andean Zone consisting of three types, namely, the Altoandino (with perpetual snow above an altitude of 5,200 ft, the Andino-Patagónico (in the lower reaches of the hills) and the Patagonian steppe. The park is dominated by the high mountain chain of the Andes, many lakes, rapid rivers, waterfalls, snow-clad peaks, glaciers and extensive forests.
Reach Hotel Las Balsas, in Villa La Angostura, on the shores of Lake Nahuel Huapi. Check in to your accommodations and enjoy a recommended lunch at your hotel. Afternoon and evening at leisure.
Villa La Angostura: Road of the Seven Lakes
After breakfast, explore the region on a private 4-wheel drive excursion along the awe-inspiring Road of the Seven Lakes. This route travels between Villa La Angostura and San Martín de los Andes. It is a route known worldwide for its breathtaking beauty, passing through lakes and rivers, with many natural panoramic lookout points.
Enjoy a traditional Argentine BBQ (asado) for lunch. Return to your hotel in the afternoon for some time to relax. Your hotel has a spa and swimming pool with sweeping views of the lake. Option to explore the soaring heights of the region by mountain bike, or kayak along its lakes with an expert guide. You may also choose to go horseback riding to incredible lookout points or hiking with a private guide.
Recommended dinner at Tinto Bistro in Villa La Angostura. Considered one of Villa La Angostura’s finest restaurants, Tinto Bistro pairs exquisite regional wines with delicious meat, fish and pasta dishes.
El Calafate: Crossing the Steppe
Flight to El Calafate and private transfer across the Patagonian Steppe. You will have a recommended lunch in the charming town of El Calafate. We recommend Casimiro Biguá. Located in the center of town on the main avenue, Casimiro Biguá serves up the best of Southern Patagonian barbecue, with grilled lamb or pasta dishes, and with aptly selected wine pairings.
In the afternoon, visit the Glaciarium museum. This is a modern museum dedicated to the glaciers of the area. Your host will guide you through the museum, as you learn about the glaciers and their preservation efforts. The museum also features an ice bar in the basement. Evening at leisure.
El Calafate: Perito Moreno Glacier
Private transfer to Los Glaciares National Park (45 minutes), a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and its keynote Perito Moreno Glacier. Begin your excursion by visiting the catwalks and balcony facing the Perito Moreno Glacier to enjoy the panoramic perspective of this natural wonder. Walking along the different levels of catwalks, enjoy expansive and up-close view of the magnificent glacier.

Activity Duration: 1 – 1.5 hours depending on interest level
Later, cruise along the Perito Moreno Glacier and take part in a strenuous 4-hour ice-hiking excursion on the glacier with a specialized guide. Enjoy a delicious picnic lunch in the forest along the way to the glacier. This unique hike will introduce you to the fascinating landscape of the glacier – walk alongside the glacier and then proceed with crampons hiking over the thickest sections of the ice following the lateral moraine towards the center of the glacier, seeing huge moulins, caves, crevasses and plenty of ice formations in incredible shades of blue.

Greeting by your host and private transfer to the airport for your flight to Buenos Aires.
